Is Conor McGregor really dodging Justin Gaethje, or is this just another baseless claim?

Team Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz has made a rather obnoxious claim that has struck the entire MMA community leaving them shocked.  According to Abdelaziz, Conor McGregor was offered a fight against Justin Gaethje five times, but each of those opportunities had to be scrapped because the ‘Notorious’ was either unwilling to cooperate or refused to fight ‘The Highlight.’ This statement by the manager was taken into cognizance by the UFC CEO Dana White, who outright disregarded any of the claims.

While having a conversation with ‘Submission Radio’ Ali Abdelaziz ascertained that Conor McGregor was afraid to fight his client, “[Conor McGregor] got offered this fight at least five times. He never wanted to have to do anything with Justin Gaethje. He said the reason he didn’t want to fight Justin was because Justin talked bad to him on Twitter and Instagram before and the history we have with him. He didn’t want to lose to our team, I guess.”

This statement by the manager saw heavy resistance from UFC CEO Dana White. At the DWCS press conference, a reporter asked him about the fallout of the Justin Gaethje vs. Conor McGregor matchup to which he stated that its outright baseless, “I don’t know if that’s true. Conor McGregor, I have said it many times, and I will say it again. I mean, we actually have the video footage of one run.”

He further added, “So, when I was walking into his house that he was renting here, he just woke up, and I was telling him that the fight fell out. And he’s literally leaving, going, ‘Well, I’m going to train. Let me know when I’m fighting when I get back.’ We’ve never had those kinds of issues with Conor McGregor, ever”
