Colby Covington loves Donald Trump. So much so that the #3 ranked welterweight reportedly requested for Trump to be part of his walk-out entourage for his UFC 296 title bout against Leon Edwards. And surprisingly, Trump, who is running for President again, reportedly agreed to Covington’s idea.
UFC CEO Dana White, however, is said to have stepped in and nipped the idea in the bud. And it is easy to see why Trump agreed to it. Covington is an ardent Trump supporter and is often seen donning ‘Make America Great Again’ hats. In addition, the UFC is home to some of the most ardent and public Trump supporters.
