‘Action Man’ couldn’t believe what had happened to him as he shouted, “Are you f***ing serious?” at the referee. Curtis was seated on the canvas as he looked at the referee in disbelief. The TKO victory went to Kopylov, but Curtis would likely leave the fight feeling he had a chance at victory. The controversial stoppage added to the ongoing concerns about refereeing issues within the promotion. Despite this, MMA professionals appeared to be divided in their opinions about the fight. Some believe it was a terrible stoppage, while others think it was justified. Former UFC light-heavyweight champion, Jamahal Hill asserted, “You don’t call that terrible stoppage!!!

The welterweight champion Belal Muhammad has the same reaction as well, “Woow no way it was the leg I think that collapsed.” Furthermore, Terrance McKinney emphasized that Chris Curtis has every right to be angry about the loss, “Bruh ain’t no way Curtis has every rt to be pi–ed smh” Well, others have their own divided opinion regarding the clash but what does the Russian think about the victory?
