UFC 306 was the first sports event at the Las Vegas Sphere. The event also produced the venue and the promotion’s highest gross revenue after pulling in $22 million. “The whole thing was seamless. It went perfect,” White said during the post-fight press conference. “We didn’t have a lot of time to rehearse — that was our big worry coming in here. But the team absolutely nailed it.”
But the production was prepared. ESPN’s crew had to work on two shows at the same time:
1. One part of the production crew focused on the fights.
2. The other part was busy dealing with the content running on the exosphere and interior screen at Sphere.

In fact, four broadcast trucks were parked near the venue, and staff members worked for hours to present a perfect event.
“We have the experts who are doing that in the fight truck. Then we have the screens truck. They are directing the movies and the wall and the in between stuff. The level of complexity of when one truck takes over, then the other truck takes over is unreal. We’ve literally been in these two trucks for 18 hours the last two days,” shared Glenn Jacobs, vice president of production for ESPN.That’s the kind of effort that went into it. So when Dana White got to know from a reporter that WWE’s Triple H loved UFC 306 and wanted to do something similar, the UFC CEO was all for it.
During UFC 307’s post-fight press conference, as shared by The Mac Life on YouTube, White said, “I didn’t even know that. That’s the first I heard of it awesome. Listen, we are all on the same team. So we can help.”
Interesting Fact: For UFC 306, the production crew had more than 45 camera angles to choose from. That is way higher than the UFC’s usual 20 cameras for other venues.
White really took up a big challenge when he announced the Sphere event. Many from the MMA community were skeptical about its success, and others opined that the cards didn’t have enough star power. But the way the event turned out, UFC 306 will be looked at as an example because of its entertainment factor. And Triple H’s words are a testament to this.
Triple H has nothing but respect for UFC CEO Dana White after the success of UFC 306!
Du͏r͏ing a co͏nv͏ersation at the WWE Ba͏d B͏lood͏ pre͏mium ͏ev͏ent͏’s ͏post-fight press conf͏eren͏c͏e in͏ Atlanta,͏ Paul Levesque, popularly known as ‘Triple H’, shared his honest opinion on the UFC 306 event. He credited Dana Wh͏ite and his team f͏or͏ h͏osti͏ng one of ͏the most extraordinary events in combat sports history.
“And then I also look at our partners in TKO, when I see what Dana is doing, and they’re just crushing it. I see stuff at the Sphere, and I look at that production, and I’m like, ‘I wanna do that.’ You know, it looks like a lot of fun, man,” said Triple H. While it may have looked like a lot of fun, White and his team worked extremely hard to pull off the event. The 55-year-old even went on to claim that he won’t be hosting any more events in the same venue in the near future.
“It’s amazing to see what they do at the level they do it, and there’s nothing like them in the world. I think, for me, to be in this right now, to have the partners that we have, to have the talent we have, and the product that we are able to put out there—there’s nothing like what we do,” said Triple H.
With Triple H showing his interest and White willing to lend him a helping hand, can we see him return to the Sphere? Only time will tell. But just like WWE’s Chief Content Officer, UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira was also impressed with what he saw. He shared that he wanted to fight at the Sphere in the future while the background graphics showed scenes from indigenous peoples in Brazil.
