When the UFC and Dana White decided to introduce the BMF belt in the promotion, the fans were skeptical about it. The belt has only one purpose and that is to move across the entire UFC irrespective of the divisions.
One could state that the Max Holloway vs. Justin Gaethje BMF clash added a bit of charm to the title. Now that the men’s division is done and dusted, it’s time for the women’s division to get the same heat and Joanna Jedrzejczyk seems to be ready to take on anyone if BMF is introduced to the UFC.
The cinema life buzzer-beater finish by Max Holloway at the UFC 300 was the highlight of the grand event. The men’s BMF title has got the traction and now time for the ladies to have some fun. Former UFC Strawweight champion and ex-UFC fighter Joanna Jedrzejczyk has now come forward to express her willingness to come out of her retirement to fight if Dana White adds a woman’s BMF title.

While in conversation with ‘Cage SIde Press’, Jedrzejczyk stated, “If they create the BMF for women I want to be the first. I will come out of retirement to fight for the BMF title.” Jedrzejczyk was one of the latest inductees of the UFC Hall of Fame of 2024, despite her Hofer status, she is willing to come back to lock horns against anyone of the BMF title.
A women’s BMF title would be the next big thing for UFC and Dana White, however, the UFC supremo has yet to comment anything about this. Regardless, the MMA community has come forward to demand this.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk has to be one of the most dominant UFC strawweight fighters to have ever set foot inside the Octagon. With a record of 16 victories and 5 defeats, there’s hardly anyone who had the caliber to take on her. However, if the conversation is about the ‘BMF’ title things are a bit different. A social media user highlighted that apart from her, Amanda Nunes is the one who can take the belt.
“Only woman besides her thats more deserving is Amanda nunes honestly”
Furthermore, another fan emphasized that Jedrzejczyk, Zhang Weili, Amanda Nunes, and Rose Namanjus are the real contenders for the ‘BMF’ belt.
“The only people allowed to compete for it would be Joanna, Weli, Nunes, or Rose”
Well, most of the dominant fighters from the UFC’s women’s division have already retired from the promotion and there’s no competition to it. However, fighters like Alexa Grasso, Kayla Harrison, and Jessica Andrade are still in the promotion and can fight for the belt as well.
“She’s retired, Amanda nunes is retired, and cyborg isn’t in the ufc. No competition for the female BMF”
Moreover, another fan highlighted the fact that, unlike the men’s division, the women’s division has very few worthy contenders for the title.
“The thing about the women’s bmf is that there’s only like 5 of them worthy of fighting for it and that’s across all the weight class”
