In September 2023, UFC and WWE merged, giving rise to a new company called TKO. This came just months after Endeavor announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire WWE. Since then, the two companies have merged some of their departments while also giving fans opportunities to enjoy some unexpected crossovers. One such crossover has now been announced by UFC boss Dana White.

It’s the holidays, and the head honcho has surprise gifts for all through his yearly 16 Days of Giveaways. But while many expected him to give away gifts related to the UFC, Dana White has announced that the UFC and the $6.8 billion company would be giving away tickets to the upcoming WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas for the final day of the giveaway.

He stated that it would be an all-expense-paid tour for the winners, and they would be taking care of everything. So, from hotels, to travel to the event, the winner would not be paying a single penny! “I’m working with TKO and WWE to give the winner a trip to WrestleMania next year right here in Vegas. We’re all going to rockstar the s**t out of the winner. Hotels, flights, WrestleMania tickets, hospitality, and so much more. This is our town, and we are gonna blow you away with this trip.”

However, not everyone was a fan of the UFC boss giving away WWE tickets. The promotion has many big-money matchups lined up for 2025, many fans felt that Dana White and the TKO could’ve offered them tickets to UFC shows instead. Seeing that the followers of the UFC boss are indeed UFC fans, it would’ve made more sense. Taking to the comments, they shared their disappointment: “I was on board until you said WWE,” “Is switching for UFC tickets an option?” and “Bros promoting the most random s**t nowadays, we’re a couple months away from a cricket commercial at this point.”

Some fans were disappointed by the giveaway as they had a different surprise in mind already. With Jon Jones announcing after his fight with Stipe Miocic that he would now be giving fans a fight they want, many expected that the 16th-day giveaway would be an announcement of a fight between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall. After all, even Dana White has promised time and again that he would make it happen. As expected, many fans were quick to let their thoughts be known. They wrote, “How bout u give us Jon vs. Tom?” “Should’ve been Tom Aspinall be a fight announcement,” and “Jones vs. Aspinall fight?” What do you think of the giveaway? Should it have been something else instead of WrestleMania tickets, in your opinion? Let us know in the comments.
