Khabib Nurmagomedov may have retired as a fighter, but this does not stop fans from speaking about his talent. As an active UFC fighter, Khabib completely dominated the UFC lightweight division. He has had one of the greatest professional fight records, with 29 wins and 0 losses.
‘The Eagle’ defended the UFC lightweight belt with wins against some of the best fighters like Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, and Dustin Poirier. His early retirement opened up doors for other fighters to win the title. However, UFC had to let go of one of its best fighters.

Luckily, he has not completely vanished from UFC. He still can be seen with his teammates and students. He trains upcoming UFC fighters, Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov.
The upcoming week will be very busy for ‘The Eagle’ as five of his fighters will be in action. He said, “Our two guys gonna fight in UAE Warriors 29. Dana White gonna come there. It’s gonna be like looking for a fighter- Dana show. And next day, Zubaira (Tukhugov), Islam, and Tagir (Ulanbekov) gonna fight in UFC. It’s gonna be very busy man.”
If his teammates win their UAE fights, it would be absolutely great for them.
It is great that Khabib is still present in the sport and is encouraging new fighters; especially from Dagestan. Having a champion around will definitely help the young fighters. Meanwhile, ‘The Eagle’ is also roaming around the world and enjoying himself.

I love, like all my old other years when I was fighter, it was like very busy time because I cannot fly, I cannot, I cannot do like this stuff before when I was fighting because we have to focus every day.”

It is exactly the same with his views on martial arts, and ‘The Eagle’ would no doubt appreciate a fighter who can put on a virtuoso performance and beat his teammates. However, it would delight him more if he left Abu Dhabi with a 5-0 coaching record for the week.
