“He is a f****g lunatic. He acts like a lunatic.” This was the assessment that UFC CEO Dana White made on UFC Middleweight Paulo Costa after the latter became vocal about low fighter compensation in UFC. The UFC star with 14-4 in his resume has been sporadically active in recent years due to injuries and illnesses but he does not shy away from being active to accuse the UFC boss or get into controversies. From allegedly assaulting a female nurse in 2022 amid a COVID-19 dispute to getting involved in a controversial scorecard against Sean Strickland, he has been through it all. But did ‘Borrachinha’ stop? Absolutely not.
He recently dragged Dana White amid the FBI and Elon Musk shenanigans by stating something similar that Musk demanded from the US federal employees. ‘The Eraser’ uploaded a post on X and asked the UFC head honcho to e-mail UFC fighters questioning them about their recent training activity in the gym. He wrote, “@elonmusk @danawhite, should send e-mail for all UFC fighters now and ask them to prove they were training in the last 5 days.”
This was a dig at what Elon Musk asked of Federal employees. On Saturday morning, Feb 22, US Federal government employees woke up to a dreadful email from the tech mogul. Musk, recently took up the unofficial position of Department of Government Efficiency and dispatched an email to federal workers ordering a summary of their work every week. The threat? Failure to send the reply would be considered as a resignation.

But did Dana White’s good friend escape this chaos easily? Not at all. This is because Kash Patel, the newly appointed FBI Director ordered the bureau workers to completely ignore this email from Musk. Patel also wrote in an internal report: “FBI personnel may have received an email from OPM requesting The FBI, through the Office of the Director, is in charge of all of our review processes, and will conduct reviews in with FBI procedures. For now, please pause any responses.”
In simple terms? The FBI will not take any orders from the Silicon Valley tech genius. It looks like the Space X CEO’s self-appointed role as Washington’s most peculiar boss took a sharp turn after his “justify-your-job” injunction to the federal workers.

But when it comes to President Donald Trump, his support remains unfazed for Elon Musk as he called the Tesla CEO a ‘patriot’ while insisting he be more strict. Musk too, did not stop after the cold response from the FBI. He took it to X and praised the employees who had replied to the mail and suggested that they would be first in line for promotions. As Patel flexes his authority and Musk attempts to streamline the US government, Paulo Costa is trying his hand at streamlining making bizarre demands from UFC.

Paulo Costa has a unique demand from Dana White and Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor might not have been up in the Octagon smashing opponents off late but he is still making headlines as a promotional rival to his boss and his place of work. It’s kind of weird because Conor McGregor is still an employee with two fights left in his UFC contract. It’s been almost four years since he last stepped into the Octagon.
However he has indicated that he does not intend to be sitting on the sidelines for long. After a failed attempt at a boxing match against Logan Paul in India this year, the former dual weight UFC champion alluded to fighting soon.. but not in the UFC? Recently, ‘The Notorious’ stated at a BKFC press conference, “If you think I’m up here giving these speeches and leading these men into battle and I won’t step in there myself, think again.”

He has a myriad of possible opponent in ex-UFC stars Mike Perry, Jeremy Stephens, and Eddie Alvarez. But a challenge from Paulo Costa was not on his Bingo card this year. In a recent plot twist, the Brazilian took to X and posted a demand stating, “McGregor I want bkfc u.” As if McGregor hasn’t been giving Dana White sleepless nights, ‘Borrachinha’ has entered the mix to make sure the UFC head honcho becomes a true insomniac. But it’s safe to say that this fight will never happen, as long as both fighters are under UFC contracts.
So was Costa serious? While the Irishman has made it clear that he is serious about his BKFC debut and world champion dreams, Costa’s seriousness is yet to be determined, given his proclivity of being an online troll. What do you think? Is Paulo Costa on his way to another mega-fight after losing against Robert Whittaker and Sean Strickland? Is this why he is riling up Dana White and McGregor?
