The aftermath of the UFC 292 PPV in Boston keeps adding to the drama around the Bantamweight division. On one hand, ‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley dismantled reigning champ Aljamain Sterling to take the Bantamweight title home. Before we go into what Dvalishvili and ‘Aljo’ said, it’s pertinent to know why Dana White is unhappy with these two Bantamweights. ‘The Machine,’ who’s a 32-year-old fighter from Georgia, openly declined to face his friend Sterling and a title shot against Sean O’Malley. White took issue with this stance, questioning Dvalishvili’s fighter mentality.

The UFC head honcho declared, “If you don’t want to find who the best in the world is, this is not the place for you.” What’s more – he also suggested that ‘The Machine’ should seek opportunities in other promotions if he’s not interested in determining the best in the UFC.

In these few words, Dvalishvili seemed to echo a sentiment of clarity, asserting that the title shot should be decided between himself and his friend Sterling. On the other hand, the ‘Funkmaster’ injected a touch of humor into the conversation with his response. In his own tweet, he playfully remarked: “Everyone making this so complicated 🤣 Either way, I am with you brother ✊🏾”

‘Aljo’s tone seemed light-hearted, suggesting that amidst the complexity of the situation, he stands united with Dvalishvili, reinforcing their camaraderie regardless of the circumstances.
