Dana White recently slammed Bryce Mitchell for his statement about Adolf Hitler being a “good guy.” But that response was seen as a statement that was predetermined and curated by his team, according to the UFC CEO. Well, the 55-year-old decided to clear the air surrounding that rumor by claiming that the piece of paper he was reading included a few details that he penned down after doing some research online.
“I got on Google and I started looking up World War II and remind Bryce Mitchell what a piece of sh-t Hitler was,” Dana White told Tucker Carlson on his YouTube channel. “I saw people saying, ‘Oh, he read a canned.’ I don’t ever read canned statements. Nobody writes anything for me, and lawyers are never involved when I go out and speak.”
The UFC head honcho is often seen staying true to free speech and has never shied away from speaking his mind. As such, White maintained his stance that whenever he’s out addressing the public, the words that come out of his mouth are as organic as they can be and there’s no one to curate statements for him. “I wrote them down so I wouldn’t forget, but nobody writes anything for me. Everything is exactly how I feel about it whether you like it or not,” the 55-year-old added.

‘Thug Nasty’ certainly did not anticipate the backlash he’d face for his remarks about Adolf Hitler. While he’s made many controversial statements in the past, he decided to share an apology for the most recent one. While taking back what he said about the WWII culprit, the featherweight assured fans that he doesn’t support the Nazi leader in any shape or form, nor does he think the horrors the infamous figure had done were justified.

“I’m sorry I sounded insensitive. I definitely was not trying to offend anybody, but I know I did,” Bryce Mitchell stated. “I know that a lot of people died in the Holocaust and that’s a fact. Hitler did a lot of evil things. I think we can all agree on that. I’m definitely not a nazi, and definitely do not condone any of the evil things Hitler did.”
‘Thug Nasty’ would certainly hope to steer clear of any controversies in the future given that his recent comments came back to haunt him.
