With UFC 302 wrapped up, with an amazing back-and-forth main event, the time has come to shed some light on the return of Conor McGregor in the second PPV of June 2024. But ‘The Notorious’ hasn’t looked too serious about fighting Michael Chandler, which was evident from the numerous videos of him partying at his Black Forge Inn pub. But Dana White isn’t ready to believe that it’s true.
As announced, UFC 303’s first press conference will take place in Ireland as the UFC keeps building what could be their biggest fight of the year. Why? Because, in Dana White’s words, the event’s total gate collection has surpassed $20 million – it’s already a financially blockbuster event. But when White turned his attention to responding to McGregor’s partying video, he just shut those talks down.

The UFC has built a wide social media presence through its social media accounts, internet podcasts, and collaborations with content creators. But would you believe it? The 54-year-old still thinks the internet is a shady place. And when it comes to Conor McGregor’s controversial party visuals, he just does not know what to believe.
“I don’t know what’s real on the internet and what’s not real on the internet… I don’t know if any of that’s real or true,” said Dana White at the UFC 302 post-fight presser. He would further mention Conor McGregor’s business acumen and how he would never try to sabotage his upcoming fight with less than a month to go. After all, he claims it to be the biggest comeback ever.
“Conor is not a dumb guy and this is obviously a big fight for him. He’s calling that the best comeback in the history of sport and all that stuff. So, we’ll see what happens,” Dana White added.
Thereafter, Dana White also mentioned that he had plans after wrapping up UFC 302. Those plans seemingly include traveling to catch up with Conor McGregor ahead of his UFC 303 return.

The UFC CEO also revealed that he’s hopping on his jet soon to reunite with his biggest star at the Emerald Isle. “I’ll actually be with him tomorrow so I’m flying there right now. So, I will see what’s going on.” Knowing how much passion Irish fans have for the sport of MMA and how they’ve always backed Conor McGregor over the years, he sounded very excited to go to Ireland and join the fans at the press conference.
“It’s gonna be awesome. I’m excited to be going back to Ireland and I love the people over there. There’s always great energy. It’s gonna be fun. I’m looking forward to it,” Dana White added. It will be interesting to see how things pan out during the pressers and then on the business end of things – inside the Octagon.
