During the conversation, he said, “Yeah, no doubt about it, you know. Anybody out there who’s 50 plus when you hit 50 the wheels come off the bus. It’s like when your car hits 50,000 miles. It’s like should I get a new car or should I get this stuff fixed? That’s what my life was starting to feel like.” It’s something most of us can relate to when we get old. But White met a person who took a part in the transformation process.

“Met this guy Gary Brecka. Once you hit your fifties, the party’s over. You got to change your whole lifestyle and start taking care of yourself if you want to continue to perform at the level you performed in your 30’s and 40’s. I did that and I literally can’t take enough stuff on now. I feel better than I’ve ever felt my whole life,” said Dana White.

Behind the scenes, White faces a battle no successful entrepreneurs or bravado could shield him from—his own health struggles. The wake-up call came when White’s weight and lifestyle began catching up with him. Known for grueling schedules and endless travel, he often prioritized work over self-care.
