UFC CEO Dana White is Team Donald Trump. This fact has been pretty evident owing to the history the duo shares and the former president becoming a frequent guest during recent UFC events. But guess what? White has also interacted with the current president Joe Biden in the past, and a video of the CEO talking about his experience recently resurfaced online.

During Barack Obama‘s presidential run, Joe Biden, who was then the vice president, invited Dana White to hang out and spend some time in 2010 for one of the Democratic Party’s rallies. The UFC head honcho would later reveal what had transpired when he met Biden to Ariel Helwani when White and the veteran combat sports journalist were on cordial terms, claiming to have enjoyed Biden’s company.

“It was cool [hanging out with Joe Biden]. Actually, he was a very nice guy. He was fun to hang out with and I had a good time. I was honored,” Dana White stated. “He’s pretty busy [to attend UFC fights].” Moreover, the now-55-year-old also claimed to have participated in the Democratic party’s rally because the then-vice president asked him to and White had claimed that he had to oblige.

“The fact that the Vice President of the United States called me to come out and try to get young people to vote. I’m honored, man. When the vice president of the country calls you, you go,” Dana White added. Meanwhile, it’s important to note that, at that time, Donald Trump was years away from entering the political landscape even though he had already been friends with the boss of the world’s premiere MMA organization.

However, the UFC president, years later, would change his take on Joe Biden, claiming that the current president doesn’t even know him.

Despite meeting in the past, Dana White once claimed Joe Biden isn’t aware of him

During the 2020 US presidential elections, before the results came out, it looked like a clear path for Joe Biden to take over the role of the President of the United States from Donald Trump, which he eventually did. But before the dust settled, reporters would talk to Dana White about the change in the presidency, to which the UFC CEO seemed unbothered, claiming that he wasn’t sure if Biden knew that he existed to turn his attention to what he had to say about the elections.

“Like Biden’s gonna come after me? I don’t think Biden even knows who I am; I don’t think Biden knows who Biden is (laughs),” Dana White stated during a Contender Series presser in 2020. This was certainly a big 180-degree turn for the UFC CEO who in the past had nothing but good things to say about the 81-year-old Democratic Party leader.
