Dana White Asked to Hand Ailin Perez “50 K Bonus” as Paulo Costa Bewildered by UFC Vegas 82 Bizarre Moments

Ailin Perez has been in the news for quite some time, especially after the UFC Vegas 82 event. The fighter displayed an exceptional performance and emerged victorious in her bout against Lucie Pudilova. Notably,͏ it was ͏not her performance that garnered attention instead it was a completely different thing.

Pérez marked her recent victory with twerking, and the commentary team had the perfect viewpoint to enjoy the celebration. However, her celebration faced a huge backlash from the combat community and now Paulo Costa has something to say in the matter.

Ailin Perez’s in-match antics as well as her doing the victory twerk after the match was a controversial take for the combat community. There was a moment in the match when everyone questioned the validity of her actions. One of the commentators couldn’t help but remark on Perez twerking. “Some would say it’s too early on a Saturday in Las Vegas for that move.” said the commentator.

The combat community had a conflicting opinion on her celebration with them calling out Dana White for disciplinary actions. In the midst of this cacophony, Paulo Costa boldly stepped into the fray, beseeching White to bestow a bonus of $50,000 upon the fighter.

Costa took to his X (formerly Twitter) handler to add an instance of the match and captioned it as “I can’t believe I miss this . Give her twerk 50 k bonus pls”  This was not her first make making such a celebration. The fighter earlier twerked which made Daniel Cormier uncomfortable.

Ailin Perez’s post-triumph celebration at UFC Vegas 77 caught everyone off guard. After her commanding performance against Ashlee Evans-Smith, securing a decisive victory, Perez added a spirited element by showcasing some dance moves, exuding a lively vibe.

The celebration caught former champion and UFC commentator Daniel Cormier off guard. Cormier had to pause the interview for a bit and we could witness a bit of unease from his expression.  Perez’s translator Fabiano Buskei was also a bit flustered by Perez’s antics as he narrowly translated her victory speech.
