UFC 282 ended with the most controversial decisions this year. Just 30 minutes ago Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon had a very close fight where the former was given the win, albeit to the dissatisfaction of many. However, to trump that decision, Jan Blachowicz vs. Magomed Ankalaev came up, which left Joe Rogan bewildered before taking the post-fight interview.

Joe Rogan, Dana White and fans left bewildered after UFC 282

UFC 282 delivered two of the most controversial decisions in the main and co-main events. Following the announcement of the split-decision draw, a visibly confused Rogan interviewed the two light heavyweight contenders.

Fans on social media observed how both Rogan and Dana White looked clueless in the octagon following the announcement.

The fight looked lopsided in the first two rounds, where the Polish showed his mettle with his supreme striking. However, the tables turned after the 3rd round where Ankalaev displayed he was from the mountains of Dagestan.

The MMA bout instantly went to the ground and Ankalaev earned 11 minutes of ground control time.

Following the split-decision draw at UFC 282, the light heavyweight title remains vacant. However, that may not be the case for long. UFC president Dana White announced during the post-fight press conference that former champion Glover Teixeira would face Jamahal Hill for the vacant title in Brazil in January.

Hill is riding a three-fight win streak with wins over Jimmy Crute, Johnny Walker, and Thiago Santos. Moreover, he has only lost one of his six bouts in the UFC.

As for Teixeira, the former champion lost out on a rematch with Prochazka because of no fault of his own. On top of that, the UFC could not come to an agreement with a Brazilian for a rescheduled bout for UFC 282.
