UFC CEO Dana White has had one of the toughest weeks after two of his main events suffered a tremendous blow. Firstly, Khamzat Chimaev had to pull out of his fight at UFC Fight Night because of an illness. Then, the UFC 303 main event suffered a massive blow after Conor McGregor withdrew his name at the last minute because of an injury.
Luckily, the promotion has found replacements for both events and is ready to roll. White recently revealed that he was super happy with the replacements. He then also took time to share his plans regarding NASCAR.
Dana White wants to make NASCAR a household name

UFC CEO Dana White is a man known to take up new challenges in his career. This time around, he has found a special interest in getting an all-electric deal with NASCAR. However, the co-owner of Thrill One Sports and Entertainment isn’t quite focused on that. He wants to promote NASCAR in its entirety. Recently, the 54-year-old shared the details of working on a deal with NASCAR to create an electric racing series showing his interest in eco-friendly motorsport.
Thrill One Sports and Entertainment, which possesses all electric-racing series -Nitro Circus and Nitro Cross previously used to run on combustion engines. However, since 2022, they have switched to electric cars and shifted their focus towards sustainability. The 54-year-old wants to help NASCAR grow as an overall entity after their deal is done. White said (via Sports Business Journal), “As we get together, I think there’s a lot of value we can add with them in making NASCAR younger and helping them with social media and a lot of things we could work well together on, and they’ll teach us a lot about the business of racing.”
White is known to be a marketing genius and can take drowning sports to completely new heights. It will now be interesting to see what happens after their deal gets finalized. The focus then shifted from the NASCAR deal to the UFC 303 main event. Conor McGregor is out of action and the fans now want to know when he would return. It seems the UFC head honcho doesn’t want to comment about it yet.

Dana White is unsure about Conor McGregor’s return date
The confusing tale of Conor McGregor and his return has finally come to an end. McGregor is reported to be facing an injury which forced him out of action. UFC CEO Dana White has done his best to find an alternate main event, but he still needs to answer some questions. McGregor’s return was one of the biggest attractions of the year and it seems the fans have to wait a bit longer. But why exactly has the former dual champion walked out from the fight? Well, it seems the 54-year-old also has no answer to the question.

When White was asked about his reaction to the entire incident, just like his old self, he took the question professionally and said, “It’s the business, man. This is the way it goes. And from here on, I’m not going to talk about it until when he’s healed, and he’s right. Then we’ll look at the landscape and see what we can figure out.” Most MMA experts have already started making predictions about the Dubliners’ injury. However, the exact details of his injury are yet to be disclosed.
At 35 years old, McGregor is definitely at the twilight of his career and has only two fights left in his contract. He has already wasted three years of his prime previously because of an injury.
