In the buzzing MMA rumor circuit, one name echoes persistently among fans and insiders alike: Michael ‘Venom’ Page. Ever since the fighter turned a free agent after leaving Bellator, there has been a  palpable sense of anticipation surrounding this British fighter. Since then, a plethora of rumors have circulated regarding his potential venture into the UFC domain.

The fighter was supposed to sign up for UFC soon after his Bellator release, but it’s now been months, and the fighter has yet to be signed under any promotion. Michael Page has revealed that discussions with the UFC are underway. However, he emphasized that there are still some details that need to ͏be finalized before a ͏deal is officially confirmed. In a recent ͏interview, Page mentioned that a few steps remain before he commits to joining the prominent MMA organization.

While having a conversation with ‘The MMA Fan Show’, Page gave us an update about his induction into UFC. He said “I wish I could say for certain that we have (signed with the UFC), but we haven’t. Honestly speaking, we’re not there yet. There are still a few hurdles we need to jump over. But like I said, we’re flirting.”

Speculation had been swirling for months about a possible agreement. The talks between the two parties were officially acknowledged by UFC CEO Dana White, following Page’s presence at the UFC 294 pay-per-view event in October in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Notably, a photo of Page alongside White added fuel to the ongoing discussions.
