Recently, at UFC 287 in Miami, Trump’s attendance at the event caused quite a stir amongst MMA fans present in the arena. Thanks to his friendship with the promotional frontman, Dana White, the former President, makes frequent visits to UFC events. However, his presence at this particular event was something that White had never experienced before.
During a recent interview, the 76-year-old talked about White’s reaction to his presence at the event. Furthermore, Mr. Trump also spoke about his friendship with White and the support he receives from him.

Recently, Donald Trump appeared on the ‘Full Send Podcast’ for the second time and discussed various topics during the conversation. One of the topics that he talked about was his attendance at UFC 287. While discussing it, he said, “We walked in and he[Dana White] said, he’s never seen anything like that. That was a good walk-in. The place went crazy.”
He went on to heap high praise on his good friend Dana White, the President of the UFC, for his incredible work with the organization.
“Dana is one of the few people that you can say, probably [the UFC] could never be the same without him. Everybody’s replaceable, they say. As you get older you hear that,” he said. “Dana is very unique and what he’s done with the UFC is incredible actually.”
Their friendship goes back a long time before the UFC was even a thing. The two have been very supportive of each other throughout the years, and Mr. Trump spoke about the support he gets from White.
Trump talks about getting continued support from the UFC president
Dana White has always been vocal about his support for Donald Trump, and the former President is well aware of it. During their recent conversation on the Full Send Podcast, Trump talked about the continuous support he receives from White.

He said, “I have continued support from Dana. You know, Dana is a tough guy, and he’s a smart guy and he’s a loyal person. I helped Dana at the very beginning when nobody wanted to put UFC on. And I had places that were able to do it and I did it. And I actually went to the first fight ever, and I said, ‘Wow, this is unbelievable.'”

Even White has always given credit to Trump for his support in helping the UFC in the initial days. Since then, both men have grown in their respective fields, and so has their bond.
