Francis Ngannou doesn’t care how Dana White feels about his loss. However, fans are certain that journalist Ariel Helwani wants everyone to think of White constantly. Helwani and White have had their back-and-forths before and those have been rather infamous.

Francis Ngannou and Ariel Helwani

Francis Ngannou lost to Tyson Fury in a highly controversial decision. Everyone knows this by now. The fighter recently appeared on Helwani’s MMA Hour Show to talk about the match and his career. However, it wasn’t all without drama.

Helwani and Dana White have it out against one another. It started to go really bad when Helwani broke Brock Lesnar’s return report earlier than the UFC wanted to without their say. He was banned from the UFC forever and White reportedly told him that they just don’t want him around. In the recent interview, Helwani made a point out of bringing White up.

“How do you think Dana White feels about what happened on Saturday?” he asked Ngannou who promptly responded, “Who cares? Dana White feel like Dana White feel. Personally I feel great. I think you have to send him an invite so you could ask him. I would like to know too”. Later, Helwani would also drag in Jon Jones. “Jon Jones too was saying you were looking and and look at you now right”.

The questions felt oddly directed to some fans. In fact, many were infuriated with Helwani and his manner of conducting the interview. Even Jon Jones himself showed up in the comment sections to bash Helwani for his suggestive questions.

Fans bash Helwani for firing sneaky shots at White and Jones

MMA fans are no strangers to the enmity between Dana White and Ariel Helwani. The two are not the best of friends. However, Ngannou seems to have moved on from his troubles with White. Helwani on the other hand seems stuck still. Fans couldn’t help but notice.

“And Jon Jones says you were looking what? You’re such a backstabbing shit talker bro and you wonder why I haven’t given you an interview in years @arielhelwani” commented Jon Jones.

“Ariel, you’re single handedly carrying this “I hate Dana white” bs, and I think it would probably be good for you to just let it go. Lmao”

Some fans even called Helwani straight-up terrible for the game.

“@arielhelwani will always be a cancer to MMA”

“Ariel obsession with Dana never ends”

Meanwhile, others compared him to Ngannou.

“Helwani needs to learn from Francis instead of crying because Dana fires you from UFC”

“Ariel stirring the pot, as usual. Lmao.”

Finally, one fan agreed with it all.

“Totally accurate. When the boss controls your every move, you gotta fall in line like a puppet or else they’ll cut you out.”

It doesn’t look like Ariel Helwani has forgiven White for ousting him from the UFC. On the other hand, White still doesn’t like Helwani for his “negative” outlook and press coverage. Either way, things are more or less the same between the two and fans seem to finally get a glimpse at just why White dislikes the journalist.
