Weeks after his allegations against Lightweight champ Islam Makhachev created controversy in the MMA community, 33-year-old Dan Hooker has come up with a fresh set of revelations in a recent interview. The New Zealand-based MMA fighter made the headlines following UFC 284 after he accused Makhachev of illegal I.V. usage during his rehydration process. The issue had already cooled down substantially, as there was no solid evidence provided for the accusations by Hooker and his team.

Now, while speaking on the YouTube channel ‘The AllStar’, the lightweight disclosed an interesting point about the entire scenario. He claimed that, following his remarks, the USADA has substantially increased the number of visits to his place, which he blamed directly on his statement on Makhachev.

Hooker, while claiming that the anti-doping agency had paid him multiple visits over the last few weeks, stated that it was no coincidence that it was taking place right after the I.V. controversy. “…two three knocks on my door at six a.m uh by USADA, blood and p**s  over the last couple of weeks,  and you that you think that’s a coincidence that ain’t no coincidence baby.”, claimed Hooker.

While doing so he also laid down his suspicions that he was being forced to “bite his tongue” on his previous remarks. He explains: I’m sure you know what I mean but it’s like on the same hand you think I’m just gonna like shut up and bite my tongue”. The 33-year-old clearly did not enjoy the multiple visits that USADA agents were paying him. And it was quite evident from his description of the experience.

“It’s like brother, I almost had 15 knocks on my door I almost had 15 knocks on my door and that’s a stranger coming into your house uh asking you to pull down your pants and stare at your d**k. “exclaimed Hooker. Although USADA are known for paying random visits since that is how they function, one can only wonder why the 33-year-old is getting subjected to it more often as he claims.

Despite alleging that he was being singled out, ‘Hangman’ expressed his frustration with the entire scenario. While asking that every fighter be subject to the same treatment, he said, “You think I’m gonna uh you think I’m gonna sit silent while other guys are skirting the rules. When I got some stranger knock on my door asking me to pull my pants down, it’s like brother, I ain’t playing this game…. it’s either test everyone all the same or stop knocking on my f*****g  door. Let me do whatever I want that’s what it comes down.”

Hooker eventually claimed to be ready for any fighter regardless if they were using PEDs or not.  “…at the end of the day steroids no steroids, I’ll fight any of these guys, like I don’t, at the end of the day, care about it.”, he asserted.

This statement from the UFC Lightweight clearly displays his frustration at how the events unfolded. But despite his allegations, since there have been no official statements on any wrongdoing from Makhachev, one can’t help but only speculate at this point.
