UFC 292 was a successful event for the UFC. The main event was explosive as Sean O’Malley knocked out Aljamain Sterling in spectacular fashion to become the Bantamweight champ. Ian Garry also delivered, taking the win against Neil Magny. Now, the fans are gearing up for UFC 293 which has a highly anticipated bout for the fight fans.

At UFC 293, Israel Adesanya will be making his return to the Octagon once again, after beating Alex Pereira at UFC 287. This time, although he isn’t fighting Dricus Du Plessis, he will be taking on one

of UFC’s most controversial fighters, Sean Strickland. Now, it seems Du Plessis getting replaced is not the only complaint that fans have.

UFC 293 PPV prices – Too high for a ‘normal’ card?

Everyone is excited to see Israel Adesanya take on Sean Strickland, especially because both fighters have been trash-talking for a while now. In fact, Strickland is also working on his ground game to get an added advantage in the fight. However, the rest of the card, according to fight fans, doesn’t feature any other big names. The PPV price for UFC 293 is $79.99, which is the same as the PPV price for UFC 294.

UFC 294 is a fight card that will feature UFC Lightweight champ Islam Makhachev defending his title once again, in Abu Dhabi. His opponent shall be the highly popular Charles Oliveira. This would be Oliveira’s second shot at the title and his second bout against Makhachev. The fans are really excited to see if Oliveira can make it happen this time around.

In the same fight card, the undefeated Middleweight fighter, Khamzat Chimaev will be fighting Paulo Costa. Chimaev is also a really popular fighter, loved by hardcore UFC fans, and is a pure entertainer. With so many thrilling fights on the cards, paying $79.99 for UFC 294 might seem fair.

However, UFC 293, which has only one bout that has the potential to be a memorable one – it seems slightly unfair that the PPV prices for both events would be the same, or so the fans say.

Fans react to the same PPV prices for UFC 293 and UFC 294

The fans do enjoy a good fight but they can also tell the difference between the fight cards that have the potential of becoming a historic one from one that just fades away. When the prices of UFC 293 PPV were revealed, the fans were shocked to see that they were the same as the PPV prices of UFC 294.

One fan commented, saying, “I mean don’t get me wrong, Adesanya is a mega star. But these PPVs being the same price is criminal“, while another fan commented saying, “Thing is the whole card is built around Izzy whereas the other is more of a treat.” The fans didn’t seem to agree that both the fight cards were equalin quality. One fan commented in utter disbelief, saying, “Ur joking right..?” as another person said, “UFC 293 looking like you found it in the bargain bin at blockbuster’s.“

However, not all fans seemed to think that UFC 293 wasn’t stacked with big players. “i mean if u gotta be honest they still are good fights. Tyson Pedro for example may get a ko of get koed trying u know?“, pointed out one fan as another joined him, saying, “293 is stacked, your opinion is different from others champ“. One person seemed to think that UFC 294 wasn’t worth the hype and the dispute. “294 ain’t even that stacked lol“, he stated. One fan seemed convinced of the fact that the PPV prices for UFC 293 were high because of Dana White‘s estimate of Adesanya’s value to the company. “Cuz of Izzy in Dana’s minds that makes it better,” he said.
