UFC Saudi Arabia attracted quite a bit of royalties to the ANB Arena, Riyadh. But having the FIFA GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo was the biggest flex that the organizers could make. And that’s exactly what they did. The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Turki Alalsikh, wasn’t going to leave a chance behind to boast about his guest list. And ‘CR7’ revealed his feelings for Dana White’s fight promotion and the Riyadh Season.

As the fights at UFC Saudi Arabia continued to entertain the fighting community, Sheikh Turki Alalsikh shared a video on X that showed Ronaldo giving out his heartfelt message to the organizers and MMA fans. He said, “You know, everyone know me. I love UFC. I love Riyadh Season. You’re doing a fantastic show. Congratulations, guys.”

Well, Ronaldo has come pretty close to the Saudi Arabian center for sports after getting transferred to Al Nassr and leaving Machester United. His aim to explore the unexplored territories of his career got him close to Sheikh Turki Alalshikh and got him the golden ticket to UFC Fight Night 250. And UFC Fight Night 250 provided the opportunity for Ronaldo, Sheikh Turki Alalsikh, and the UFC head honcho to meet and interact. Well, the visuals of White having a chat with the soccer star at the event have been going viral on the internet.

While the soccer star was truly enjoying the show at ANB Arena, there was a fight that brought him nothing but disappointment. Of course, he must have enjoyed the bout, but his favorite pick wasn’t able to claim a victory in his fight. After all, Ronaldo had recently claimed that the said fighter had the potential to sit on the champion’s throne.

Cristiano Ronaldo experiences disappointment as his favorite pick loses at UFC Saudi Arabia

Ronaldo recently had a brief interaction with the previously undefeated Sharaputdin Magomedov and exchanged T-shirts with him. During a later conversation with Michael Bisping before the event, ‘Shara Bullet’ talked about his interaction with ‘CR7’. He said, “Yeah, met the whole team with Ronaldo, specifically. I spoke about half an hour a whole bunch about UFC. He’s a huge fan. He said he’s gonna be at the fight and he said that I have potential to be the champ.”

However, reality had a different plan for the Dagestani fighter. Even though he made sure that the fighting community was entertained with his fight against Michael ‘Venom’ Page, he wasn’t able to stand up to Ronaldo’s expectations. MVP dominated the cage with his better reach. Even though Magomedov and Page were equally unpredictable strikers, it all came down to who was able to hit his marks and do some damage.

Magomedov experienced his very first defeat as a professional mixed martial artist. While that came via a decision, it was a loss nonetheless. Ronaldo had promised the exponential rise of the Dagestani. With the loss at UFC Fight Night 250, things might be a bit slower for ‘Bullet’. But if played right, his cards might get him the chance to sit on the throne pretty soon.
