Jones commented on the Sambo fight form before the UFC 294 match between Volkanovski and Makhachev. He stated that he is not a fan of Sambo and criticized the fight form openly on his Instagram account. However, his criticism did not go well with the Dagestani fighters, including the likes of Nurmagomedov. Recently, the champion has been in the limelight for his hilarious comments on the UFC fighters.

Bloody Elbow posted the video on their X page where the fighter says: ‘The reason I take matches against UFC fighters is not because their grappling isn’t good. It is because they are tested by USADA, whereas I am not.” The online fans have reacted to the video and have shared their comments. Let us take a look at some of them.

One of them seemed very impressed by Jones and commented,

“Craig is a genius.” Genius or not, he is a true champ.

Another fan agreed with him, and he also commented:

“Valid.” When you are amongst the best BJJ fighters of the world, people are bound to agree.

While most fans enjoyed the video, one of them reminded us who he is :

“It’s a joke, folks! He’s a legend!”

One more fan also agreed with his comments and commented:

“I mean, fair enough.”

One user looked offended and commented,

“The little bit of charm he once had is wearing off.” This is a personal opinion, as Jones is still a legend.

As we go through the comments, we realize the Australian received mixed reactions online. It will be interesting to see how the team lines up for their next match.
