Jones has been craving to get back into the Octagon and has reportedly planned for a comeback to UFC 282. Surprisingly, his presence was not observed at the December 10 card line-up. However, his hope and possible desperation to climb up in the UFC heavyweight division was reflected in his tweet.
Fans had a lot to say about the challenge
Miocic has grown old and is on a steady decline. As a fan-favorite fighter, Bones’ challenge to the fighter disappointed many enthusiasts. Without a doubt, he got bashed in the comments. Nonetheless, fans would definitely love to see Jon Jones in the Octagon.
A fan even made a Dennis Rodman connection while replying to Jones’ tweet.

You are such a coward. Stipe is an old man now. Should have fought him in his prime. But you were too busy cheating and winning split decisions at lhw

‘Bones’ even asked Miocic to sign the contract. Thus, while he had promised to make a return soon, the fight is not finalized yet.

Problem with this approach is he may be too alpha to accept it now that you told him to sign. He may not sign out of spite. Or just to keep you waiting. I like the first part of yr tweet but next time leave out the demand. Or at least say please …..🤷🏻♂️ (still the 🐐 )
