UFC commentator and a friend of ‘Chief Twit’ Joe Rogan, shared his 2 cents on the Twitter mass exodus. Rogan hosts one of the most famous podcasts, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. In addition, he has had the privilege to host some of the most famed names, including the head of ‘The Boring Company’ Elon Musk thrice.

Moreover, in a recent episode, he explored the reason behind the Twitter clear-out along with American stand-up comedian Kurt Metzger.

In his podcasts, Joe Rogan often divulges controversial topics and attends infamous guests. Perhaps that’s one of the reasons why his podcasts are globally followed. What’s more, due to his he has found himself caught in the middle of controversies.

Once more, he discussed the controversy surrounding Twitter, where their new head fired most of the staff after taking over. Musk certainly likes to conduct his business according to his own beliefs. Although he has faced a lot of backlash over the years, it hasn’t stopped him from experimenting with his ideas.

Joe Rogan digs deep into Twitter’s mass exodus

The richest man alive bought the tech giant with a staggering $44 billion and as a result created the iconic moment by entering the Twitter HQ. His tenure as the Head of Twitter began with issuing an ultimatum and consequently firing over half of his Twitter employees via email.

He took these steps in the 1st month after acquiring the tech giant. During the podcast with Metzger, Joe Rogan reignited the controversy by discussing it.

He said, “They’ve talked to people about openly like stoping people’s tweets from getting out. Shadow banning them.

To begin with, Metzger was blown away by the idea of shadow banning. He questioned, “How is that okay?“. Rogan claimed that Musk might have learned something which got the employees fired. Probably not all the employees were necessarily required. Apart from that, he also figured that ‘there’s some sh*t going down’. Metzger agreed by saying that not all the employees were ‘really valuable‘.

The American stand-up comedian spoke clearly regarding the matter. He felt that there was a guy who makes the decisions. A “Reddit moderator level” person who would be in charge of taking the decisions.

He further mentioned how the whole idea was so ‘brutal‘ natured. Since the people receiving the bans, ‘They don’t even know why they’re banned.

Joe Rogan admitted that the whole situation was ‘wild’. Yet it is allowed and aligned with the regulations. More so, Twitter is surrounded by chaos regarding a new stipulation that allows users to gain verification marks via a monthly subscription.
