According to Bisping, McGregor is no longer at his peak. He said, “The reality is Conor’s best days have long gone. They’re behind him, you know.”
Rogan replied, “We got to look at it this way. He takes a long time off, the cowboy fight is very quick, you don’t get to see what’s really going on, and then Dustin [Poirier] fu**s him up. Dustin f***ed him up with calf kicks. His leg was destroyed. That’s one of the best examples of a calf kick winning the fight and then, of course, beautiful combination. Starts off with that right hand, rocks him, puts him away, knocks him out. No questions asked.”
“Then he comes in the second fight with a hairline fracture already in his shin. And then fights and his legs snaps. He falls back. … It’s very unsatisfying.”
As per Rogan, there is no way of knowing how McGregor’s leg is right now.

However, Bisping feels that Charles Oliveira is a good fight for the Irish fighter because Oliveira is ‘hittable’. On the other hand, both the personalities feel that Justin Gaethje would be a very dangerous opponent for McGregor. This is mainly because of his ‘brutal’ leg kicks. To add to this, Gaethje is a good boxer as well as a great wrestler.

Rogan revealed that Makhachev would have to fight Beneil Dariush before getting a shot at the title. Now, with the Irishman plotting a return to occupy the lightweight belt, Rogan feels that they could clash. If this does happen, it is possible that the fight and everything revolving around it would create storms.
However, as of now, McGregor still needs to start working on his sparring and training like he used to. Only his performance in the octagon would be able to give spectators an idea as to how his current game is.
