From the BKFC to his Forged Irish Stout, Conor McGregor has expanded his empire far beyond the confines of the Octagon. But, the Irishman isn’t the only entrepreneur in his family! The McGregor siblings—Conor, Erin, and Aoife—grew up in Crumlin, Dublin, where their parents, Tony and Margaret, instilled the values of hard work and perseverance. Tony, who worked as a taxi driver for over 20 years, and Margaret, a devoted homemaker, together built a loving home that celebrated resilience and family unity, values that they passed on to their children.
As fans know, the McGregor name carries weight in every arena it steps into—including the world of fashion and business. However, recently, ‘The Notorious’ took to Instagram to shift the spotlight over to his sister Erin’s business venture.
In a heartfelt post shared on his Instagram story, McGregor wrote, “Love needs no words” followed by a heart emoji as a tribute to the latest products from his sister’s clothing line, ‘Imperfection’. A former hairdresser turned entrepreneur, Erin McGregor launched her clothing brand in 2021. The brand is aimed at offering “glamorous yet comfortable” nightwear and more options for women of all ages according to information available on their official website. More than just fabric and stitching though, each piece is inspired by Erin’s real-life experiences.

In a 2018 interview with ‘Stellar’, McGregor’s sister had confessed that it was her parent’s guidance that allowed her to achieve her remarkable success. “My parents believe that hard work and determination equals success. We’re a working-class family, never afraid of hard work and that was instilled in us from youth.” This attitude is probably the reason why she’s making a name for herself in the women’s apparel industry that is projected to reach a mind-boggling $936.30 billion milestone by the end of 2024, according to a report shared by Statista.

But that’s not all! The same report indicated that the market is poised to see a growth of 2.71% between 2024 and 2029 (based on Compound Annual Growth Rate or CAGR calculation). As such, the support from her world-famous brother may help her take on the challenges and make her mark felt in the industry.
In 2022, Erin also expanded her offerings to include a collection of beds in collaboration with Ireland-based DFi Beds. Reflecting on the challenges of building a brand, she shared an honest confession on Instagram as she stated, “I know many people think doors must fly open for me but that’s not the truth at all, I’ve been told so many times NO. I couldn’t have dreamt this collaboration in my wildest dreams but here it is.”
And so, Conor McGregor’s Instagram story wasn’t just a nod to his sister’s business; it was a celebration of family. His words, though brief, carried a depth of emotion that resonated with his massive following. After all, who better to understand the grit and determination required to build an empire than ’The Notorious’ one himself?

Conor McGregor throws down the gauntlet as his ‘Forged Irish Stout’ poised for a massive opportunity
What better way to promote a product than to capitalize on your competition’s shortcomings? Conor McGregor isn’t just throwing punches—he’s throwing shade too. This time, the Irish superstar took a jab at Diageo Plc, the world’s largest spirits producer, and their struggles with Guinness production. When a water shortage disrupted the Guinness supply chain in the UK, McGregor seized the moment to shine a light on his own creation: Forged Irish Stout.
McGregor, true to his bold persona, commented on CNN’s Instagram post highlighting the Guinness shortage, claiming, “Forged Irish Stout IS WAY TASTIER AND WAY CREAMIER! #RealIrishStout.” A cheeky remark, but also a clever one!

But he wasn’t done just yet. In a later post on X, the former ‘champ-champ’ shared, “Until you’ve had a “baby forged stout” ya don’t know what you’re missin”. The message was clear: if Guinness can’t meet the demand, Forged Irish Stout is ready to step in. Diageo Plc, a $69 billion spirits giant responsible for household names like Baileys and Guinness, has been grappling with a water crisis.
Their global head of sustainability, Michael Alexander, has also admitted the shortage is affecting production and as such, McGregor’s stout might just find itself in the right place at the right time! And so, the McGregor siblings are more than just entrepreneurs; they’re a testament to ambition and family bonds. Erin’s journey in the fiercely competitive fashion industry mirrors the resilience their parents instilled, while Conor’s ventures—from promoting Forged Irish Stout to supporting his sister—showcase the power of seizing opportunities!
