Can Conor McGregor ever stay out of trouble? It’s true that he is loved by many. But at the same time, there are many others who have looked at McGregor as if he were the villain in their story. Take Khabib Nurmagomedov’s teammates, for example; there’s definitely no chance that they would be good to ‘The Notorious’ in any way. On top of that, McGregor has stepped into scuffles with fans quite a few times. The last time he had an altercation with a fan in public, he received quite a bit of backlash for spitting on Khabib’s fan. But this time, his security had to intervene to save McGregor.
A visual has been going viral on the internet, showing the former UFC double champion walking down the stairs and entering an arena in Dubai for BKFC 71, while interacting with the fight fans and signing T-shirts. However, a man came out from the back and tried to attack ‘Mystic Mac’. Thankfully, his security intervened successfully and even had to throw hands, but the situation cooled down as soon as it began.
The camera shifted its focus onto McGregor, who was also intrigued by the commotion. Towards the end, he took a sneak peek at the scuffle between the fan and the security guard. Well, there are no revelations regarding why the fan took such a drastic step. Even the former UFC champ seemed confused by the act. In the end, McGregor shrugged it off and moved on, but not before giving out a thumbs up, claiming that he was okay.

The fighting world has been waiting to watch McGregor grace the Octagon once again and fight Michael Chandler. But it has been months since the fight was canceled, and the fans’ anticipation has gone downhill. Weighing in on that, a fan wrote, “A fan got the fight before Chandler 😭😭.” Another fan added, “Closest he’s been to actually fighting in years.”
On the other hand, a few fans seemed to believe that the attacker had a link with the Dagestani team. After all, McGregor was never really kind towards Nurmagomedov and his group. A fan reflected on that and wrote, “How much yall wana bet they we’re Dagestani ?” Another fan commented, “Of course it was a khabib fan.” The animosity between Khabib and McGregor goes back a long way.
Watching the footage gave one confirmation to the fans. ‘The Notorious’ seemed ready to fight, even though it was outside the Octagon. One of the fans claimed, “Bro wanted to jump in with em 💀.” Another fan added, “He wanted to get in the fight the McGregor haha.”
