How did the fans react to the chance meeting of Conor McGregor and Mayweather Sr.?

In the conversation, the fans can hear McGregor speculating about them sharing the same active professional time. Further, he confessed how much he loved the 70-year-old boxing trainer.

He said, “You know, you finishing on the jab. Finishing on the sixth jab… Every time finishing on the sixth jab. May, you are the reason. You’re so good.”

This heartwarming conversation and McGregor’s overwhelming love for Mayweather Sr. evoked warm reactions from the fans.

However, the recent interaction was a stark contrast to their previous one when McGregor accused Mayweather Sr. of “misadvising” his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

McGregor once brought trash talk to Mayweather Sr.

In the lead-up to McGregor’s fight with ‘Money’ in 2017, he claimed Mayweather Jr. got greedy for the fight and made the mistake of coming back from retirement.

Thus, ‘Mystic Mac’ said, “Trust me, he got greedy here. That was a big mistake (taking on the fight). You misadvised him. You should’ve kept him retired. It’s your fault.”

Following this, he alluded to the outcome of their boxing encounter. He summed up, “Your boy is going to sleep, and he’s gonna look so good in his sleep, I know he is.”
