But this time, fans got to witness a rare instance where Conor McGregor praised a fellow UFC athlete by labeling him as GOAT. Moreover, his bitter rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov shares the same view as the ‘Mystic Mac’ on this.
Conor McGregor praised one UFC Legend as a GOAT
The ‘Irishman’ is always known for his careless talks hence, the name ‘Notorious’. However, this time McGregor spoke highly about one of the UFC legends. The Notorious shared an Instagram Story on his account with the message that viewed, “One of the All Time GOATS for sure. FEDOR!”

Moreover, the story had a reel of Fedor Emelianenko in training. The Russian ex-fighter could be seen training the younger generation of combat sports fighters. Emelianenko showed the young fighters some techniques of boxing and other MMA skills.

Khabib Nurmagomedov had also picked Fedor Emelianenko as a GOAT
Khabib Nurmagomedov also coincidentally picked the same GOAT when asked in an interview. The ‘Eagle’ did not hesitate to name his GOATs in an interview with ESPN. The Dagestani said, “After that moment, 24th of October, 2020, I was on the top. After that, what happened I don’t care. I don’t want to put my name like, call me greatest of all time. No, I am one of the greatest of all time.”

Furthermore, he enlisted his GOATs as, “I am on one level with Fedor, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, Daniel Cormier, Demetrious Johnson, Georges St-Pierre.”

The most notable absentee from the list was fellow rival Conor McGregor.Nurmagomedov went on to add, “I am on one level. I don’t wanna call this guy greatest, he’s number two, he’s number three. One of the best.”
