

Former UFC star Nate Diaz still enjoys the limelight despite his exit from the promotion earlier this year. Recently, Diaz grabbed the headlines again after involving himself in another scuffle. This time it was outside Madison Square Garden after UFC 281.

Along with the exciting finishes from UFC 281, videos of Nate Diaz and Dillon Danis clashing outside MSG also went viral last week. Now, Danis has released some new footage from the incident on his YouTube channel.
Dillon Danis releases new footage of the Nate Diaz scuffle
Diaz fought the UFC’s boogeyman Tony Ferguson in his last fight under the promotion. He exited the company with a win and is currently one of the hottest free agents out there. However, the Stockton native does not seem to have a problem getting into fights.

Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor‘s teammate Dillon Danis locked horns outside MSG after Diaz slapped one of Danis’ companions. The pair were engaged in a verbal spat when Diaz delivered a ‘Stockton Slap’ to one member of team Danis. Prior to the slap, McGregor’s manager, Audi Attar, was trying to diffuse the situation.

Now Danis released new footage from the night on his YouTube channel. In the title, he wrote, “Nate Diaz is a 🤡.” The clip is only eleven seconds long. It shows Diaz throwing a glass at Danis and his friend and leaving the scene.
The altercation between the pair went viral on social media pretty fast. Even UFC president Dana White reacted to the event during the post-fight press conference.
Dana White on the Diaz-Danis scuffle
While talking to the media after UFC 281, one media representative informed Dana White of the scuffle between Nate Diaz and Dillon Danis. An unsurprised White responded sarcastically, saying, “That’s a shocker. Did he really?” However, White did get surprised however, when he learned the incident happened right outside the arena.

The reporter asked White if he know why Diaz was at the event and if he had any conversation with him. He also asked for his reaction to the scuffle. White revealed that Diaz had called the previous night asking for six tickets. However, they could not help him as the event had already been sold out.
White added that he talked to Nate Diaz saying “it’s all good” between them. He also said he expected something to happen every time team Diaz showed up.
