UFC 278 marks the return of Kamaru Usman. The 170-pound UFC champion will defend his crown against Leon Edwards. With both fighters on winning streaks, this fight is going to be interesting. However, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ and ‘Rocky’ made the presser interesting too by recreating a moment between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor from the UFC 229 press conference.

It started when Leon Edwards accused Usman of holding him and doing nothing in their first fight. Edwards said, “You held me for 2 and a half rounds… did nothing.”
The 170-pound champion replied, “Of course… You said your striking is much better. Of course, I am going to hold you. I don’t wanna strike with you. Your striking is much better. I held you down and I beat your face in. Now the people all want to know, how are you going to get it done?”
Edwards said, “You’re going to wrestle bruh. It ain’t gonna work this time.” “We are going to wrestle,” Usman replied back. However, that’s when Edwards interrupted him to re-create the iconic moment from UFC 229. ‘Rocky’ said, “We are gonna wrestle. Let’s wrestle.” ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ darted back and said, “Let’s wrestle, Let’s wrestle.”

What’s next for Kamaru Usman if he beats Conor McGregor?
Kamaru Usman’s dominance in the welterweight division seems unreal. Not only is ‘The Nigerian Nightmare ‘ cleaning out the division, but he is also lapping fighters. This dominance by Usman raises the question that if he beats Leon Edwards at UFC 278, what’s next for Usman?
While the 170-pound UFC champion expressed his interest in moving up to light heavyweight, Irish UFC superstar, Conor McGregor has shown interest in fighting Usman.
Tremendous! I love this record! I fight for the 170lb title I will spark him too.
That would be fastest ko in ufc title fight (13 seconds)
Most knockdowns in ufc title fight (5)
And then another KO in a ufc title fight.
3 title fights. 3 ko’s. 3 new records.
It’s right there! https://t.co/80iI59klPN— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) August 16, 2021
