Conor McGregor appears to have recovered from the leg injury that he endured during the Dustin Poirier trilogy bout. The most bankable UFC athlete of all time has shared a video focused on him strengthening his recently recovered leg. But the eagle-eyed fans had spotted a tattoo on the lower part of his leg that has a few words in a foreign language. So, was this a new tattoo and what does it mean?

The post that McGregor shared, with his almost 46 million followers, had a few clips and snaps. Since the self-proclaimed Face of the Fight Game was wearing shorts and the video was centered around his legs, the tattoo, just over the ankle on his left leg, was clearly visible.

A Reddit thread found the tattoo a curious subject. They wondered whether it was new and what was the meaning and story behind it.
A user pointed out that it was an old tattoo. Besides, they shared that Conor McGregor has talked about it before in his interviews.
They wrote, “The UFC Star revealed that this tattoo was his first tattoo which he had got inked, but the meaning of this tattoo is not even known to him.”
McGregor had the tattoo when he was drunk. Also, it is in Arabic. The Irishman mentioned that since having an Arabic tattoo was a trend; he had one. However, he couldn’t recall what it meant.

Also, a few just dropped his old interview remarks. One wrote, “mur mur mur mur.” McGregor used this in an intense press conference with Khabib Nurmagomedov ahead of October 6, 2018 event, UFC 229.

Moreover, another one speculated why McGregor made those comments, “He probably, and rightfully so, wants to avoid some fake news clickbait sh**e about him taking the p**s out of actual cancer.”
