His last fight took place in July, 2021 against Dustin Poirier—one he lost via doctor’s stoppage after suffering a leg fracture, with seconds remaining in the first round.

Two years later, The Notorious was on the verge of a comeback in the UFC 303 against Chandler Smith. However, a pinky toe injury rendered him out, breaking hearts all over. To this the unnamed individual replied back, “Jesus changed my life”, prompting another reaction from the UFC fighter. “Me too, brother,” he said. In addition to Dee Devlin’s comment on him, we got Jon Jones, who added a single praying emoji as a reaction to Conor McGregor’s preaching video. Jon Jones has been one of the most devout followers of Jesus Christ. He has a quote of the bible verse tattooed on the right side of his chest that reads: “Philippians 4:13”

To elaborate, this reference to line 13 of the 4th verse of the book of Philippians in the bible: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” For the unversed, it was his sister Carmen’s favourite bible verse and Jones got it tattooed in her memory after she passed away in 2000 due to brain cancer. But that;’s not the end. The 37-year-old had also thanked the king of the kings for his victory against Criyl Gane for the heavyweight championship belt, “I gotta give thanks to my lord and savior Jesus Christ,”roared Jon Jones at the post-fight octagon interview.

Even Middleweight fighter Paulo Costa came forward to express his love for Conor McGregor’s post as he added a single fire emoji to it. Being one of the best fighters in his division, Costa is having a bit of difficulty finding momentum in his career as he has lost back-to-back fights against Robert Whittaker and Sean Strickland and in those harsh times, the Brazilian might have turned back to his lord and savior Jesus Christ. Why? Well, because he believes in the saviour.

Regardless, apart from these personalities, some of the fans also added their appreciation to the post. One of the curious fans added, “Imagine Connor running by you and you not running with him.” Sarcastic enough, the bystander appeared to be in a vehicle. Well, that’s not all, another fan even asked whether McGregor is back on track in his life, “He is back.” Last but not least, another fan appeared to be excited about McGregor’s return, writing, “Surprise surprise the King is back.”
