Imagine being an actor and not remembering your lines. Now imagine doing it in Conor McGregor‘s debut film. It’s true and has happened in a scene that was shared by none other than the lead star of the ‘Road House,’ Jake Gyllenhaal.

It wasn’t McGregor who forgot his lines, nor was it Gyllenhaal who has already cemented himself as one of the biggest stars that Hollywood has ever seen. Instead, it was a podcaster who was recently grilled by Dana White for his way of conducting business with the Nelk Boys.

Bob Menery became famous with his efforts behind the Full Send Podcast, which is also shared by The Nelk Boys. Menery walked away from the podcast over certain issues and Dana White ended up grilling him on a recent episode for the way he handled things. He accused Menery of over-valuing himself and so forth.

In a recent sit-down on the Digital Social Hour podcast, Menery talked about all the recent drama surrounding his life. He also opened up about his time on the screen in the new ‘Road House’ film that stars Conor McGregor.

He recalled an incident with the film’s director, Doug Liman, where Liman was commending him for being able to grab the audience’s attention in a scene with Gyllenhaal. Interestingly, a dumbfounded Menery admitted that he didn’t even remember his lines.

“I mean he (Doug Liman) called me, he said ‘Hey Bob like we tested all the scenes with our pool of f*cking people and the top scene that was rated the highest was you and Jake scene,'” said Menery. “I was like ‘Oh it’s pretty cool’ cuz I definitely f*cked up. When I showed up I didn’t know my lines.”

The bizarre incident clearly took Menery off guard. But perhaps he wasn’t caught as off guard as the time White put him on blast for ditching the Nelk Boys over intellectual disagreements about the podcast, as well as the finances that went into making things work.

Bob Menery claimed that Kyle Foregeard, a member of the Full Send Podcast, cut him off after the podcast started reeling in a lot of money. In return, Foregeard argued that Menery had, in fact, made over a million dollars from their partnership.

Dana White was dragged into the whole thing when he went on the podcast and tried to settle the differences between everyone. Menery claimed that he was the one responsible for introducing White to the Nelk Boys and deserved credit for it.

Credit where it was due, Dana White agreed regarding the same and still put him on blast for giving White some “crybaby bullsh*t”. Clearly, the UFC head honcho is not the one to mince his words for any reason. Do you believe Menery was at fault here?
