BKFC’s founder and president David Feldman recently confirmed that they are not going to stop working with Conor McGregor despite the Irishman’s civil lawsuit controversy. Now, McGregor’s partner has come up with some surprising news about a major business deal that his promotion has struck with a platform mostly known for sports, which could change the whole landscape of combat sports.

“We have a lot of announcements that we’re gonna make. I am not gonna make a lot here. I am just gonna tell you that we’re in the process of an acquisition that’s gonna change combat sports,” Feldman stated during a recent BKFC presser. “We’re in the position to acquire a major sports-promoting platform right now that’s gonna change the face of combat sports.”

Thereafter, David Feldman made a stunning announcement that early next year, they will be hosting the biggest fighting tournament in history. If you’re wondering what makes it the biggest tournament, well, Conor McGregor’s partner is putting up a $25 million prize money up for grabs. “No.1 and No.2 is we’re gonna have the biggest, baddest fight tournament that ever took place and it’s gonna start in April and it’s going be a $25 million ‘World’s Baddest Man’ tournament,” Feldman added.

Dana White may not allow Conor McGregor to fight in the BKFC, claims Eddie Alvarez

Conor McGregor had previously mentioned having two fights left on his UFC contract, and that alone makes the MMA community assume that it could be a while before the Irishman steps inside the BKFC squared circle. His comeback fights were announced, scheduled, and promoted, but then got scrapped. In fact, we still don’t know when and if McGregor will ever make a comeback.

Former UFC fighter and McGregor’s rival Eddie Alvarez believes that another hurdle ‘The Notorious’ could face is Dana White‘s unwillingness to let him fight elsewhere, given how valuable he is to the UFC.

“Realistically, I think he still has two fights left on his UFC contract. I just know how difficult it is, especially when you’re that valuable to a company,” Eddie Alvarez told ‘MMA Fighting.’ “I haven’t been as valuable as Conor, but back when I was basically Bellator’s main guy, I know how difficult it is to get out of those contracts. They don’t make it easy.”

For now, though, Conor McGregor is reportedly slated to fight Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match, so we’ll have to wait and see if he returns for an actual fight. But as a promoter, the Irishman seems to be doing pretty well with the BKFC. What do you think? Will the ‘World’s Baddest Man’ tournament pan out like the BKFC brass has planned?
