Conor McGregor, the former UFC two-weight champion, is undoubtedly one of the greatest MMA fighters to ever set foot inside the cage. He garnered worldwide fame with his amazing fighting skills and charismatic personality during his reign in the UFC. This landed him many lucrative offers not only in the sports business but even outside of it, including a role in the famous Game of Thrones series.

Reportedly, in 2016, it was confirmed that ‘The Notorious’ would be appearing in the final two seasons of Game of Thrones. Initially, it was believed that the Irish UFC star would face the Mountain or the Hound in the show.
However, later reports suggested that the former UFC lightweight champion will play the role of a pirate. He was supposed to be a crew member of Euron Greyjoy’s ship.
Unfortunately, that never came to fruition, as in a later interview the former UFC champion confirmed that he doesn’t have any role in the show. In the end, it turned out that all of it was just a rumor about his acting debut.
Conor McGregor will soon make his Hollywood debut
Currently, the former UFC champion is facing a rough patch in his fighting career. He is on a two-fight skid and out of fighting because of a career-ending injury he faced last year.
However, McGregor is still making big moves out of the Octagon. The Irish superstar is already a huge name in the showbiz business and to add to his cap, he will be making his acting debut now.

‘The Notorious’ is set to make his Hollywood debut with the 80s classic movie remake, Road House. The highest-paid UFC athlete will feature alongside famous actor Jake Gyllenhaal in the movie.
However, there is yet no announcement about the part he will have in the film. The movie is currently under production and will soon be released worldwide on Amazon Original. The dates of the release are yet to be announced.
Fans have already enjoyed the self-proclaimed face of the game inside the MMA cage. Now they will have a treat watching him on the big screen.
