The MMA world has been put on notice after none other than UFC’s Conor McGregor announced his return for this summer against Michael Chandler. “The Notorious” confirmed on ESPN, and his opponent, “Iron” Michael Chandler would do the same in an interview with TMZ Sports not long after. However, their supposed return might be coming into question.
This isn’t the first time that the Irishman has announced his fight against Chandler. On New Year’s Eve, McGregor claimed that he would return back to action at UFC 302, but was later confirmed by the UFC CEO as false. An MMA legend seems to feel that it will be no different this time around.

Dana White addresses Conor McGregor’s return
During a recent podcast episode on the Pound4Pound podcast, Dana White addressed Conor McGregor’s return inside the UFC octagon. White claimed that there is no lack of communication between the two parties, however, he also seems to think that given the former UFC double champ is busy promoting his movies, he shouldn’t try making a return at the moment.
During the Pound4Pound podcast, White said, “There’s no lack of communication. You know where Conor is tonight, he’s in New York City for the premiere of Road House. He has obligations right now to promote this movie, so he’s been flying all over the world going to all the premieres of this launch, this is an obligation that he has to do… It is what it is, he committed to this movie, he has obligations to this movie, he can’t do both.”
