Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz‘s rivalry is one of the greatest and most entertaining ones in all of MMA history. The pair are 1-1 over their two welterweight encounters and their enmity never stops. They both consider business unfinished and go at each other on social media occasionally. Recently, they once again had a go at each other while also dissing Dustin Poirier. While the Diaz-Poirier fight never took place, that hasn’t stopped them from beefing online against each other and with their common rival, ‘The Notorious’.
Poirier recently updated the fans that he was under medical care due to a staph infection. McGregor and Poirier had a brief back-and-forth under a tweet announcing the latter’s medical situation. Diaz jumped in later, taking shots at both parties, and igniting another Twitter feud with McGregor.

Conor McGregor translates cryptic response to Nate Diaz
Commenting on ESPN’ Brett Okamoto’s tweet about Poirier’s health, Conor McGregor called his lightweight rival “scruffy knickers” and asked him to “heal up soon.” Poirier retorted asking if McGregor was done filming “Roid House,” alluding to the recent steroid accusations against the Irishman.
The former double champion responded with threats of finishing Poirier in a potential fourth bout and gloating about his physique. Nate Diaz responded to a tweet reporting this back and forth, saying, “You both get knocked out all the time.” McGregor responded to this tweet in typical McGregor fashion. However, ‘Mystic Mac’ later offered a public translation for those unfamiliar with his diction.
Public translate: I’m fighting you too. But i will bury him quick first. Way handier fight/her knickers/More recent story line etc. If he bottles it, it’s you. I’m also in Amsterdam, weeds great, and I’m not a bad guy I’m just a great martial arts actor with boat loads of money. https://t.co/ExU4OBwWFM

“I’m fighting you too. But i will bury him quick first,” wrote McGregor. The 34-year-old said he would prefer to finish business with Poirier before taking on Diaz unless that plan falls through. He also mentioned he was in Amsterdam and flexed his wealth and his upcoming Hollywood debut.
Both Diaz and McGregor have repeatedly ensured that a trilogy fight will happen. However, with Diaz’s recent exit from the UFC, it may be a while before it comes to fruition.

Prior to his last UFC outing at UFC 279, Nate Diaz gave his thoughts on when the McGregor trilogy will go down. The previous fights set PPV records and the magnitude of a third one could be just as huge.
Speaking of the fight, Diaz said, “The timing’s not on right now. We’ll worry about that later and for sure it’s gonna happen at some point. He can get back on what he’s gotta do, whatever that is. When we’re gonna match up, we’re gonna match up, but we ain’t going nowhere.”
