Conor McGregor is looking to make his comeback. After two years out of the octagon, ‘Notorious’ is anxious to get back in action and put his recent bad form behind him. The Irishman has fought only five times in the last seven years.
The former UFC and CW two-division champion is in Dubai, training hard for his upcoming return to the UFC. The timeline for his comeback, however, remains unclear. Along with training, McGregor is also making appearances at the big events in the city.

McGregor was spotted at the International Boxing Association (IBA)’s Champions Night event on 9 December in Dubai, UAE, looking sharp as usual. He was asked by Instagram personality Sabina Kleckova about his outfit and the bombastic Dubliner had an amusing answer.
Speaking about his outfit, he quipped that while the olive-green shirt he was wearing was a Fendi, his trousers were his school bottoms. “This is Fendi, these are my school bottoms,” the former UFC champion said.
The 35-year-old shared snaps and a video of him being introduced to the crowd on his official Instagram account. McGregor is slated to face rival TUF coach Michael Chandler in a welterweight bout sometime next year. However, the date for his comeback remains unclear.
While both McGregor and UFC boss Dana White have indicated fan might see McGregor back in action on the UFC 300 anniversary mega-card in April 2024, his coach has made contradictory statements. McGregor’s coach, John Kavanaugh has spoken about ‘Mac’s comeback possibly being pushed back to July next year. And Chandler gave updates on the fight in a recent interview.
