After a long absence, Conor McGregor is finally back. He wrapped up the shoot for ‘The Ultimate Fighter 31’ and will soon fight Michael Chandler in his UFC comeback. ‘The Notorious’ recently took to social media to express his gratitude for being a part of the TUF reality show.

Conor McGregor is a household name in mixed martial arts. His absence due to the injury he suffered in his fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 saw the rise of new superstars in the UFC. However, he quickly stole the public eye after announcing his second appearance as a coach on UFC’s reality T.V. series.

Conor McGregor praises the TUF 31 contestants

The former UFC double champion has been at the pinnacle of the sport of MMA for almost ten years now. He has always loved fighting. Conor McGregor recently shared a post on Instagram talking about his experience on TUF 31. He wrote, “I love fighting so dearly. I had a great experience coaching and training with a solid crew of young athletes on [ESPN’s The Ultimate Fighter].” 

He praised the new set of fighters in the reality show and added, “Alongside my long time, all time, all star team! Airing May 20th everywhere.” 

The UFC’s premier reality show had gone stale in the last few seasons. The injection of Conor McGregor probably guarantees an entertaining season ahead of us. Fans will tune in to see some of the most hilarious banters that ‘The Notorious’ is known for.

How to watch TUF 31 and the McGregor-Chandler fight?

TUF 31 will culminate with both coaches, Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, going head-to-head inside the octagon. The show will air exclusively on ESPN on the 30th of May, 2023. The upcoming season will feature 12 episodes, and every episode will be dropped every Tuesday. UFC fans can also access the show on demand on ESPN+. They will also have the opportunity to revisit the old seasons of the show on the same platform.

Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will battle it out after all the episodes of TUF 31 have been aired. There aren’t many details regarding the fight since UFC president Dana White confirmed that the fight is still in its developmental phase. The fight was initially meant to take place in September. However, fans will have to wait for the official announcement regarding the date and venue of the fight.
