Conor McGregor had the entire world caught in attention as he entered the White House to meet Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Michael Gwalts, and others. But ‘The Notorious’ didn’t meet them alone. He found the golden opportunity to bring his family, Dee Devlin and their children, Conor Jr., Croia, Rian, and Mack, into the Oval Office. Well, McGregor had an agenda in mind. He went in there to speak on behalf of the Irish community and make a stand for himself in his quest to become the next Irish President. But even though he got pretty busy with the POTUS and the American secretaries, possibly discussing ways to ‘make Ireland great again’, he didn’t forget to show the world how much he loved his family.

First, ‘The Notorious’ shared a picture of Conor Jr., his eldest son, to his Instagram Story and wrote, “My Champion!” followed by a red heart and a lucky clover emoji in the caption. Next up, he shared a picture of him along with Devlin and their four children posing right outside the White House. Again, he dropped a red heart emoji and a clover emoji in the caption. In a third IG Story, ‘Mystic Mac’ shared a picture of his long-time fiance with their children. And the caption read, “Family,” followed by a red heart.

The former UFC double champion’s Instagram profile was also filled with some recent updates. He uploaded pictures of his family standing beside Trump in his office. Well, most of the photographs showed ‘Mystic Mac’ working his magic into the conversations with the American President. After all, the POTUS’s work ethic inspired the Irish fighter. But after every handful of visuals, came pictures of his family members interacting or posing with Trump.

As Conor McGregor continued to make strides toward his goal of becoming the next President of Ireland, he’s been extra critical of the current government’s shortcomings. He aimed to put the Irish sentiments out in the open and lashed out at the illegal immigration racket ravaging his country. Furthermore, ‘The Notorious’ believed, “Ireland is at the cusp of potentially losing its Irishness.” And for his comments, he was forced to exchange a few heated words with the Taoiseach, Michael Martin. Let’s see what the two had to say about each other.

Conor McGregor finds himself in controversial lands with the Taoiseach after his Oval Office speech

The Taoiseach didn’t really appreciate McGregor’s speech regarding illegal immigration. Martin took to X and pointed out that St. Patrick’s Day was actually a festival focused on humanity, community, friendship, and fellowship. Martin claimed, “Conor McGregor’s remarks are wrong and do not reflect the spirit of St Patrick’s Day, or the views of the people of Ireland.” But, we know that ‘The Notorious’ isn’t one to back down easily.

Following his speech and interaction with the POTUS, McGregor had an interaction with the media. Of course, the reporter asked him to talk about the Irish Prime Minister’s tweet. ‘Mystic Mac’ said, “Shame on him for saying that, for speaking down on an Irish man. I won’t speak about him personally, or throw a jab—I could, I could throw many jabs at him, I could throw jobs handily at them—however, I speak on the metrics, and the metrics show they have failed the people of Ireland.”

Needless to say, Martin wasn’t the only one to negate McGregor’s speech. The Social Democratic and Labour Party assembly member Matthew O’Toole also took McGregor’s words as an insult. He dissed Trump for inviting ‘The Notorious’ to Washington on St. Patrick’s Day. O’Toole believed that it was a ploy to amplify McGregor in his Presidential run. But the former UFC champ-champ had his stance strong for his countrymen and his family.
