Conor McGregor Sends a Message to Justin Bieber as ‘Unexpected’ Link-Up Sends Fans Into Frenzy

Who would have thought that Justin Bieber and Conor McGregor knew each other? For those of you who are not aware of this, when Conor McGregor was recovering from his injury at UFC 264, he met up with “The Biebs” and he decided to hang out with him in Beverly Hills to have a fun breakfast together. Seems like McGregor is again going to have a gala time with the eight-time Billboard number-one singer very soon.

This duo might also come as very surprising because the singer used to be tight with “The Notorious” nemesis Floyd Mayweather. However, they had formed a friendship back in 2021 and it seems to have sustained time. A recent post by ‘Mystic Mac’ on Instagram sent the fans into a frenzy. This is because he gave some of those throwback pictures of the breakfast they had in Beverly Hills and promised to meet the ‘Baby’ singer again.

The pictures have a funny story where McGregor said that he had randomly bumped into Justin Bieber on a tennis court in the Bahamas. The UFC icon and mega-star musician have since then formed a friendship over the years. Not only did they meet when McGregor was recovering from his injury, but then he bumped into him again on the tennis court. This time again McGregor himself is preparing for the meet and addressing the singer beforehand.

He said, “My brother @justinbieber, the Mac has your back for life! From Beverly Hills to the Bahamas! See you in Vegas bro, it’s game on, the Mac is back! Five more nights on the delicious and then that be that see ya’s tonight IM NOT F***ING LEAVING @properwhiskey @forgedirishstout @jennifersalke.”

The Grammy Award-winning musician had previously supported McGregor when he lost to Dustin Poirier, at UFC 257. The ‘Purpose’ singer took to his Instagram and supported the fighter, saying, “Love this guy win or lose.”

Back at the 2021 VMAs, Bieber received his award and gave a shout-out to McGregor, who was in the audience. Bieber said, “We’re gonna get ’em next time. New York is back and so is the Mac. 2022 will be our greatest year yet. Conor, we’re gonna get ’em next time, my boy. Let’s go.”

Since ‘The Notorious’ is coming back and fighting Michael Chandler in UFC 303, he wants his friend to be there. The fans were surprised by this connection between the two and commented on the same while some of the fans were talking about his fight preparation or rather the lack of it.

Fans have different reactions to this connection

Some of the fans of UFC were excited to see that the musician and the fighter knew each other for more than two years. Meanwhile, others were not so happy because they reacted to the lack of preparation that McGregor was showing. “Unexpected but fire duo. I’d like a podcast with these 2,” wrote one fan, while another comment read, “2 legends.”

A third one went, “Conor lock the fu** in dawg you bul***ing too much on the ig.” This is just one among the many comments where fans want to see more training from the Irishman. In a previous Instagram post, the fans were not impressed by his sparring techniques after he came back from the hiatus. While his punches were powerful the fans commented that his movement was slow.

This time too, the UFC buffs were annoyed that he was not practicing enough even though he looks massive next to Bieber. Comments like “Bro you need to be training .” and “Go to the gym mother fu.” were also present.

One curious fan asked, “Bieber and McGregor are related???” while another observed, “Bieb looks like a boy next to Mac.”

The fans expect the best from the former two-division champ and they will not be impressed by anything other than perfection. However, McGregor has been trying hard to get into shape again after his shin injury two years ago. Will he be able to win against Michael Chandler?
