Conor McGregor on how to fight Zion Clark
While Conor McGregor had nothing but good things to say about Clark, he also tried to decode Clark’s fighting style. McGregor commented on the former D1 wrestler‘s speed of entry for the takedown. The former two-division champion also advised against connecting with Clark in “any shape or form.”
In his opinion, it is better to fight Clark by finding frames to strike from. He also congratulated Clark and remarked how MMA is the best sport.
Absolutely fascinating to hear about this man’s debut and now see it. Lighting entry on the low single. Wow! You should not connect to him in any shape or form. Frames only. Frame to strike. Fascinating! Congrats and so much respect to that man Zion Clark! Mma is the best sport! https://t.co/XHOCEpRm5r

In a response to his previous tweet, McGregor elaborated further on how to fight Clark. Being a grounded opponent, opponents cannot kick Clark. Therefore, McGregor said, “the only way to stop him is to develop ko ending shots mid transitions in grappling.”
Can’t kick as he is grounded opponent. The only way to stop him is to develop ko ending shots mid transitions in grappling. Very few on the planet possess this skill. And to 3/4 way downward punch a jab there is just no power. Look at opponents attempt before the shot. Wild! https://t.co/Ox4OpzpT1n

‘The Notorious’ also said, “Very few on the planet possess this skill.” He used Clark’s opponent as an example to show how downward jabs would also be useless, as there would be no power.
McGregor’s uplifting messages prompted a response from Clark, who said he had no intentions of slowing down in his pursuit of success.
