Conor McGregor is looking to make a return to the octagon soon. This is something fans always enjoy, as his dedication and grit when it comes to the sport of MMA is something that they look up to. Despite many downs in the UFC over the past few years and ups away from the cage that has set him up for life, ‘The Notorious’ is eager to bulk up, turn things around, and compete at welterweight. 

His training and lifestyle were extensively showcased years before during his run to the featherweight championship. However, now that McGregor is looking to turn a new chapter in his career, fans want a peek into his daily training and routine.

McGregor’s training and fitness app ‘McGregor Fast’ interviewed him for an account of his daily routine on their YouTube channel. In his own words, the Irishman chronicled his daily routine in a well-organized manner.

Water. The first thing I would have in the morning is water. Then I’d stretch, and then I’d get my breakfast. Eggs, potatoes. Maybe some mushroom? A green juice – A spinach and kale type of juice, or it could be like spinach on the side then maybe like some fruit. A strawberry smoothie or like strawberries and, you know, maybe some watermelon or pineapple, and that would be a good fueled breakfast. Fully fueled.” 

Talking about lunch and training sessions, he continued, “I’ll do breakfast, have a pre-workout on that, and then I usually would work out. Yeah. I would work out. I’d come home. Then I’d eat, you know, my lunch. Whatever that would be, maybe some rice dish, maybe a root veg. Maybe sweet potato mash and maybe some chicken or something like that, depending on what the next sessions… Pays off majorly.” 

And all the small details of it make the big details. Again, I go back to the structure, wake up at a certain time train at a certain time. Structure is the key to real success. I feel you know, you’ve got to be structured you can’t be just on the fly.”
