Conor McGregor may not know when he’s stepping back into the cage. But that doesn’t stop him from throwing shots at Michael Chandler. A trash-talking king like ‘The Notorious’ always finds ways to get inside the opponent’s skin. With his X post, he sent out a thrashing as usual. Will it be enough to make Chandler sweat?

Chandler himself isn’t one to hold back either. He’s been sending his shots and declaring his unfearful nature with all the mind games Team McGregor can play with him. However, now the Irishman has seemingly declared another bout for Chandler. What is it?

McGregor earlier took to his X handle to troll Chandler in his usual fashion. ‘The Notorious’ is clever in his ways, even though he puts up a rather uncaring persona. He deleted the X post soon; however, he knew it was enough time for media outlets to catch on to it.

Is this a way for him to create hype? Perhaps. Everyone knows he’s a hype machine of his own, no matter what tactics he puts up. Now, he’s gone ahead and enlisted Brazilian mixed martial artist Renato Moicano to fight Chandler instead.

Who is Moicano? He is currently #13 on the lightweight roster of the UFC. Pitching him against Chandler would mean a great shot for the Brazilian; however, for Chandler, it would be a great step down since he has been preparing to fight none other than McGregor.

Clearly, McGregor is making fun of the whole situation. But Chandler himself isn’t taking it easy on McGregor himself. He called him out for what he considers a “sham”. A fraud for not making a grand comeback but dropping a piece of his life’s story instead. Is he talking about McGregor’s documentary? Yes, yes, he is.

McGregor won’t go unpunished

Conor McGregor Forever was a docu-series that took the fans through the life of the Irishman. Of course, parts of it were filmed during his recovery. And during his recovery, McGregor was still loud and flashy with his trash talk. And that’s exactly what Chandler put in his crosshair.

“Imagine saying it, “the greatest comeback in combat sports history” and then doing a whole sham of a documentary about it, and then never coming back. @TheNotoriousMMA -McGregor FORGOTTEN.” Chandler wrote in a post of his own. Now, the trash talk may just feel exhausting to many. While it’s entertaining, it couldn’t provide the fun a real fight can. So, this might be a great time for the UFC to let the fans know if the two will butt heads at UFC 300. What are your predictions?
