Michael Chandler recently sounded off on Conor McGregor for making him wait for their fight. He even took a dig at the Irishman, claiming that he may never return to fight ever again. These words did not go unnoticed as McGregor struck back. The former UFC double champion shut Chandler up with one of his most iconic lines ever.

It’s almost going to be a year since Dana White announced Michael Chandler as Conor McGregor’s comeback opponent. However, the Irishman’s situation with USADA kept him from getting back inside the Octagon. And when Chandler vented out his frustrations over the situation, McGregor quickly got the better of him. Conor McGregor is not one to shy away from a confrontation, especially on social media. The Dublin native apparently had enough of people pointing figures at him and questioning his future in MMA. Hence, as a response to Michael Chandler’s recent outburst on Twitter (X), McGregor shared the response with ‘Iron’, which he shared with former UFC fighter Jeremy Stephens.

In a deleted tweer, Conor McGregor said, “Who the f*** is this guy?” It was an iconic callback to the time when Jeremy Stephens was shut down by the Irishman at the UFC 205 press conference for claiming that he would give the hardest challenge to the former double champion. On the other hand, while we are talking about McGregor’s fight against Chandler, the Irishman native recently expressed his urge to get back inside the squared circle if the Octagon doors do not open soon.

‘The Notorious’ could return to compete in a boxing match

Conor McGregor was one of many celebrities who attended the ‘Day of Reckoning’ Boxing event in Saudi Arabia. He mentioned wanting to compete in a boxing match once again, and this time, he wanted a fight against former 8-division champion, Manny Pacquiao. In an interview, McGregor said, “How about me versus Manny here in Saudi?… Wouldn’t you think Manny should come up to my weight, considering it’s his sport?”

Furthermore, ‘The Notorious’ mentioned the $8 million that ‘PacMan’ owes to Paradigm Sports, his management agency. Manny Pacquiao is yet to pay the sum, and McGregor is willing to let that slide if he agrees to fight him in a boxing match. “Manny already owes me $8 million via court of law. He was signed to my management company and then did not honor his deal,” the former double champion added.
