Former two-division champion Conor McGregor is busy promoting his upcoming Hollywood project ‘Road House.’ McGregor will feature alongside Hollywood A-lister Jake Gyllenhaal for his debut project. The Dubliner recently appeared on the ESPN MMA show to discuss his return. While speaking to host Marc Raimondi, he shared the condition Ari Emanuel laid for his next fight. Let us find out what the former two-division champion had to say.

When will Conor McGregor make a return to the Octagon? This is the question that is bothering most of the fans in the fighting world. At 35 years of age, McGregor is in the Twilight of his career and has only two fights left in his contract. However, he is still waiting to get his comeback fight. During his recent interview on ESPN MMA, McGregor talked about the relationship he shared with Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel. During the conversation, he also pointed out the condition laid by him for his return.

He said, “Me and Ari Emanuel talk a lot. A great, great man, a lovely, real nice relationship already and I love it. He’s always available for to talk. And you know, I think he’s saying like one in one. Maybe like one fight, one movie. So you know I just wanna fight and I’m saying this to you now because I’m on the last day of my tour. I’m saying, yeah I’ll do the next one. But it has to be right the way road house came about it.

Well, McGregor has already completed one movie and it will be interesting to see if he gets offered his fight next. Michael Chandler might be his next opponent, and the pair has been willing to fight each other for a long time now. However, it now seems that the Dubliner has finally received his date for his next fight.

‘Mystic Mac’ shocked the world when he announced his return at the International Fight Week against Michael Chandler. The pair were scheduled to meet previously in 2023 after the TUF 31 season. However, the fight got delayed because of multiple reasons. It now seems that the former two-division champion has finally received a date. In a recent interview with Robbie Fox from Barstool he was asked , “…You’re back in fight mode, is the thought still 185 lbs?”. Much to the delight of the fans ‘Mystic Mac’s ‘ answer to the question might just hint at a possible date.

He said, “Yeah, I’m gonna jump on a scale though, I haven’t jumped on the scale in a minute so, I’ll get on the scale. Yeah, 185, 170, I actually, let’s see what the scale things. Main thing is, I’ve got great news, I got the call, everything, it’s all a go.. ” McGregor was last seen in action in 2021 and the fans will be eager to witness the superstar in action.
