As the year draws to a close, UFC superstar Conor McGregor is determined to leave behind his legal battles and injuries, stepping into the new year with a fresh mindset. Delays significantly postponed the Irishman’s long-awaited Octagon return, and he now finds himself nearing the twilight of his career. However, before making his MMA comeback, ‘The Notorious’ plans to “rinse off the stench” with an exhibition boxing match in India against Logan Paul, paving the way for a potential “uno más” or “duo más” MMA showdown.

Although promoters on the Indian side have yet to officially organize the exhibition, Conor McGregor is already working to hype the potential bout. Recently, he took jabs at Logan Paul while also targeting his UFC rival Ilia Topuria. This came to light when the Irishman shared a post from “Happy Punch” on his X timeline with the caption “Drago vs. Blago,” comparing himself to the infamous villain from Rocky IV. ‘The Notorious’ humorously mocked the WWE star by twisting his name into “Blago”, further igniting speculation and interest in the possible matchup.

Conor McGregor didn’t stop there and took the opportunity to interact with fans on X in a series of threads. One fan tagged McGregor, advising the former UFC two-division champ to be cautious when facing Logan Paul. The fan warned, “Don’t be fooled by him, his preparation will be accurate and calculated.” ‘The Notorious’ quickly responded, asserting, “I, too, will be calculated and precise.” Despite ‘The Mavericks’ limited record of just one win in both professional and exhibition boxing, fans acknowledge the danger he poses. Fans see Logan’s youth and active boxing career as potential threats, especially since the Irishman’s been sidelined since 2021.

In another thread, a fan questioned Conor McGregor about the likelihood of his new nemesis and UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria moving up to welterweight to fight opponents like Jack Della Maddalena. This comes amid rumors of Topuria potentially transitioning to the lightweight division soon. The Irishman swiftly dismissed the idea, delivering a blunt response, stating, “Never, he has the b-lls of a kitten.”

It’s worth noting that Conor McGregor and Ilia Topuria, who once considered ‘Mystic Mac’ an idol, are now on bad terms. Topuria has yet to respond to the Irishman’s remarks. McGregor’s fight against Logan Paul continues to stir excitement, leaving many fans wondering about McGregor vs either Jake or Logan Paul. Could Jake Paul be next for the former UFC champion? Let’s see what are the conditions set by ‘The Problem Child’ for facing the former UFC champion.

Jake Paul, unlike his older brother Logan, has carved out a distinctive reputation, especially in terms of his success in the combat sports world. ‘El Gallo’ has made a name for himself through high-profile boxing matches, often sparking controversy by taking on retired legends and veterans like Mike Tyson and Mike Perry. He has quickly become one of the most talked-about figures in boxing, mostly by challenging past and present fighters. However, his primary target has always been Conor McGregor, known for his lucrative “red p-nty night” but despite numerous jabs on either side, a fight between the two never materialized.

Now, after years of anticipation, Jake Paul has made it clear that he is open to facing Conor McGregor, but only on one condition: Dana White, the UFC boss, and the Irishman’s employer must be involved. ‘The Problem Child’ tweeted, “The only way we’re willing to explore me vs. Conor in a pro boxing/MMA fight is if Dana White/UFC are at the table directly or make it clear they are okay with discussions.”

This comes after a long-standing rivalry between Jake Paul and Dana White, with ‘El Gallo’ accusing White of underpaying UFC fighters. In contrast, White has dismissed Jake Paul as a “gimmick” fighter. In September, the Ohio native, in disguise, publicly attended a UFC event and later claimed that White had banned him. The UFC head honcho, however, labeled those claims as “rubbish.”
