Conor McGregor has worked his way onto several important lists, including Forbes. ‘The Notorious’ breaks records, sets his own and then breaks them again. McGregor is the first UFC simultaneous two-division champion. He tops the list of highest-selling UFC PPVs and has multiple entries on the same list. However, he is also a part of another list, with his name amongst other elites.

Conor McGregor’s picture is on a wall in Joe Rogan’s studio. His picture is among those of David Bowie, Mick Jagger, and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few. Now, this poses the question: Could it be ‘that’ picture?

Conor McGregor asked Rogan to frame their picture in his studio

In an article on her experience of visiting Joe Rogan’s studio, LuLu Cheng Meservey, a VP at Substack, mentions that Conor McGregor’s picture is hanging on the wall along with those of Mick Jagger, Hunter S. Thompson, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, etc. Back in 2021, Conor McGregor in an Instagram post asked Joe Rogan to frame a picture in his studio. The picture was that of Joe Rogan holding the microphone for a seething McGregor in the aftermath of UFC 264.

 

Rogan responded to McGregor and said he was framing the picture for his studio. He also invited McGregor to his podcast, asking him to take his scooter down there. Rogan was referring to the scooter McGregor was using post his surgery after the UFC 264 injury.

Rogan also received a lot of backlash for interviewing then severely injured McGregor at UFC 264. The fact that McGregor went at Dustin Poirier and his wife during the interview did not help Rogan’s case either. Rogan defended his actions by revealing that it was McGregor who asked to be interviewed.

Joe Rogan once framed McGregor’s mugshot for his studio

In 2018, Joe Rogan added an infamous piece of artwork to his studio. In an Instagram post, Rogan shared the picture- an artwork of Conor McGregor’s mugshot.

The mugshot seems to be from the infamous bus incident in Brooklyn. An incident that was a dark episode in the history of the sport and a significant one in the Conor McGregor-Khabib Nurmagomedov rivalry. McGregor ran into trouble with the law in the aftermath of the incident and the mugshot Rogan bought seems to be from this time around.
